Excellent review. This Samsung looks great and is going to go to the top of my list. It’s past time to upgrade my primary TV, this old, 720p plasma set is okay, but I’d love to have something capable of full 1080p picture to take advantage of the huge number of HD channels I’ve been getting since I upgraded to DISH’s HD Free for Life promotion. Being an employee of DISH, this has become one of my favorite ongoing promotions. I mean, since high definition will be the standard in a few years, why should people pay extra for it? I think it’s great that DISH is taking this approach.

Does this model come with a timer that will allow you to shut it off at night or come on in the am?

2 questions: My new apple MacAir book has an HDMI adaptor cable- will it not work with this TV's HDMI inputs?
With the Samsung wall mount are the imputs easily accessible?

It's a great TV, but why do you have network connectivity and cannot / do not have the ability to use your Samsung Apps. When I got this home this was not available and was mislead by the sales people at Sears. Will you be making this available in the future?

I find this tv produces a "home video" quality image. Like we are editing a film. Like it is a real life sequence and not a movie. How can we fix this problem?
