This Samsung LED TV is on the larger end of the scale on Samsung's current high end range of LED units, with a 46 inch diagonal screen size. To make sure you have the sharpest image, the TV features a 240 Hz refresh rate, meaning the image refreshes 240 times per second (around 30 to 40 Hz is usually sufficient for the brain to detect movement in a change of images), letting you get the absolute maximum from your HDTV or Blu Ray input. This high refresh rate can be combined with changeable dejudder settings (Auto Motion Plus), which allows you to get a natural appearance to fast moving images, which has been a traditional problem on LCD TVs.

As with the rest of the range, the key design feature of this TV set is the tiny depth of the thing. At little more than an inch thick, it fits on the wall just as easily as a mirror or a picture frame. In fact, because the rear of the TV tapers out, the edges of the back are in fact a lot thinner than an inch, giving it a barely noticeable appearance when viewed from the side aspect. In terms of audio quality, this TV provides a good approximation to surround sound, via the use of SRS TruSound technology, which broadcasts the sound such that the viewer interprets the sounds as coming from around the room.
